This tool gives a planning range for typical residential work in Gaston, Mecklenburg, and Lincoln counties. It is not a substitute for photos or a site visit — rock, grade, utilities, and finish details change the answer. We do not schedule stump grinding below a $150 minimum for the agreed scope.

$150 minimum on any stump grinding job we book. The preview never drops below that. Your confirmed quote for the agreed grind-only scope stays at or above that floor and can go up if verified scope is larger than what you entered.

Estimator FAQ

How accurate is this?: Useful for budgeting. Confirmed after we review access, finish, and measurements.
What about 811?: If utility locating is required, we can submit the NC 811 ticket for you. Private lines may need separate locating.
What if several stumps are the same size?: Put them on one row — set count and size once instead of line-by-line.
How to measure diameter?: Measure the widest point of the stump where it meets the ground, including exposed root flares that need grinding.
